191st Birth Anniversary of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna Deva on 19th February, 2026

Dear Devotees and Well-Wishers,

With deep devotion, reverence, and gratitude to the Almighty, we are blessed to share that the sacred festival of the 191st Holy Birthday of Bhagwan Sri Ramakrishna Deva were observed at Vivekananda Ashrama, Shyamlatal with profound spiritual fervour and solemnity.

The auspicious day began with Mangal-Arati, followed by special Puja, Havana, etc., and the offering of Bhog to Sri Sri Thakur. Around 125–150 devotees and well-wishers gathered to participate in the celebration and later partook of the cooked prasad with great reverence.

The occasion was marked by chanting, prayer, meditation, and heartfelt offerings, creating an atmosphere of divine grace and spiritual upliftment.

Mahashivaratri Celebrations – 15th February, 2026

Dear Devotees and well-wishers,

With deep gratitude to Lord Mahadeva, we are pleased to share that the sacred festival of Maha-Shivaratri was observed at Vivekananda Ashrama, Shyamlatal with profound devotion, spiritual fervor, and reverence.

The Holy Pooja commenced after the evening prayers and continued in an atmosphere filled with chanting of Shiva-Nama Sankirtana and heartfelt offerings to Lord Shiva, concluding around 10:00 p.m. It was a blessed gathering, with more than 90-100 devotees and well-wishers participating in the worship and later receiving prasad with great joy and devotion.

Memorial Meeting of Revered Swami Sridharananda Ji and Christmas Eve Celebrations on 24th December, 2025

Dear devotees and well-wishers,

Memorial Meeting of Revered Swami Sridharananda Ji Maharaj held on 24th December, 2025 started with Vedic Chanting and discourse by Swami Dhruveshananda Ji, Swami Jnananishthananda Ji, Swami Purnarupananda Ji and Swami Suhridananda Ji.

“As per the tradition of our Holy Sangha in memory of the special day in Dec. 1886 after the mahasamadhi of Sri Sri Thakur, the young Narendranath (Later Swami Vivekananda) and his brother-disciples gathered at the ancestral house of Baburam (Later Swami Premananda) in Antpur village. One night, Narendranath spoke about Sannyasa and renunciation in front of the holy fire to his brother-disciples present at that time and they took vows not to return to their homes & lead a monastic life. In the morning, they came to know that night was Christmas Eve, 24th December”

To observe this blessed event, Christmas Eve was celebrated with due solemnity on 24th December 2025 before Sadhya Aartikram.

The program started with GAP children chanting Vedic mantras, followed by an offering to Lord Jesus, and ended with discourse by Swami Suhridananda Ji and Swami Dwarakeshananda Ji.

Around 50-60 students, devotees, and well-wishers participated and took Prasad on this blessed occasion.

Celebration of 173rd Birth Anniversary of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi on 11th December, 2025

“Dear devotees and well wishers,

The 173rd Birth Anniversary of the Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi was observed in a grand manner on 11.12.2025. The program included Bhajans, Special Puja, Homa, Vedic Chanting.
About 280-300 devotees, well-wishers, students participated and took cooked Prasad on this auspicious occasion.”
