Though in the past, there were 20 beds IPD ward, it was discontinued due to unavoidable challenges. In recent years, the IPD has been modestly revived to offer completely free treatment for patients from the remotest areas of the Himalayan region. Rooted in the spirit of seva (selfless service), it provides medical support who cannot afford prolonged hospital stays. Free transportation using Ashrama vehicles from nearby villages ensures no one is left behind. Inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s words, “They alone live who live for others,” the IPD remains a sanctuary of healing with aspirations to expand and modernize in the near future.
