Vivekananda Ashrama, Shyamlatal offers guest accommodation for devotees wishing to stay for 2 to 7 days in the serene Himalayan region. Surrounded by nature and silence, guests can meditate, reflect, and experience inner peace in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. Regular retreats and discourses by monks help integrate Vedanta into daily life, aligned with Swami Vivekananda’s ideal: “ātmāno mokṣārtham jagat hitāya ca, “For one’s own salvation and for the welfare of the world”. Bookings can be made through the form on our website or by emailing us directly.
Important (Please follow below instructions)
1. After transfer of Registration Fees / Donation, please inform us with your Full Name, Address & PAN/Aadhar No. through email (shyamlatal@rkmm.org)
- Confirmation will be sent only after Receipt of Filled Form & Registration Fees.
- Please bring the hard copy / print out of the confirmation letter when you will come to the Ashrama.
- Kindly bring light Winter Clothes, Torch Light and Umbrella.
- If any devotee(s) is willing to stay for more days before/after Retreat, then either they

General Rules for Accommodation:
- We have two guest sessions:

- September 15 – November 15

- Minimum stay is 2 nights.
- Bookings are only accepted by email, not by phone.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Keep your booking number safe after you get the confirmation letter.
- We do not provide accommodation for single ladies.
- Room allocation depends on availability.
- Please help maintain a peaceful atmosphere in the ashram.
- Check-out time is 8 AM, right after breakfast.
- Bring a PRINT OUT of your confirmation letter when you arrive.
- You cannot pay in cash anymore. Please send your donation online (like NEFT/RTGS).
- If you can’t send it online, mail a cheque or D.D. to “Vivekananda Ashrama, Shyamlatal.”
- If you donate online, email us your full address, mobile number, PAN, and Aadhaar number: shyamlatal@rkmm.org .
- Please fill out and send the attached consent letter by email or post.
- All donations are tax-exempt under section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
